    Sump on, oil pump on, water pump on, fettled cambelt tensioner on, oil filler tube on, Now ready for head and gearbox to be added

    More done today, rear crank seal on, flywheel on, clutch on, core plugs in

    Block painted, oil pump ready to attach with new oil seal, Unipart oil filter and switch, flywheel cleaned

    Last ones, near side sill lowered and now looking good. Rub down, test and hang the doors etc, then paint

    Body shop work all completed and will be in the paint shop tomorrow for its primer coat. Can't wait to see it finished

    Finally had a morning free to continue. Engine block all cleaned and ready for paint and new rear crack seal. oil pump cleaned and ready for new oil seal, gearbox all cleaned, clutch arm removed cleaned and first coat of paint on, Sump all cleaned, dent mostly knocked out and first coat of paint on. All new manifold studs now on the head, all clips now attached, thermostat housing broken bolt removed, drilled and re-tapped.

    New parts I got cheap from rimmers, and my car will be finished in the Bodyshop in 4 weeks time. Getting excited now and better find time to finish my engine etc
